NOTES 1. Stiles offers WDMA premium A-grade extra heavy-duty wood sound control doors, both flush and with lite kits. 2. Assemblies include: Stiles proprietary PS14 perimeter seals, ADB6 automatic door bottoms, and specially designed hollow metal frames. All other hardware including standard butt hinges, thresholds, and latch sets can be provided and / or factory installed upon request. 3. Construction: 1-3/4" thickness with sound attenuation core encapsulated by stiles, rails, cross-bands, and 1/42" face veneers. Edges match veneered faces. Core construction is proprietary. Doors weigh 5.9 lbs. per square foot. 4. Veneers: Premium grade veneers are compliant with WDMA I.S. 1-A, available in a variety of paint and stain-grade options and finishes. *See General Section for Finish and Veneer Options Veneer Match: Book match veneer is standard. Slip or random match available if specified. Face Assembly: Running match is standard. Center or balanced match available if specified. 5. Fire labels available: 20 minute per UL 10C / UBC7-2 Positive Pressure for flush doors with standard fire rated hardware only. 6. Glass Lite option: STC 44 with 216 sq. in. consisting of two lites of 5/8" laminated glass. Glass, glazing and installation not included, but are available upon request. 7. Proper seal at door bottom requires a smooth, level surface. Do not seal over carpet. 8. Frames must be grouted solid or packed solid with 12 lb. insulation. Voids between wall and frame must be continuously caulked after installation. 9. Stiles acoustical assembles can be equipped with standard builder's hardware, customer to specify. |
