Sound Control Doors + Windows


  • Since 1973 Stiles Custom Metal has conducted an ongoing sound door development and testing program. All our Sound Door Assemblies are tested by accredited independent laboratories. Stiles has passed every field sound test performed.
  • The following chart is only a representative sample of our capabilities. Our engineering staff, with over 60 years of experience designing and building sound assemblies, can assist you in determining the best solution for your project.
  • Most sound doors can be fire rated per UBC 7.2, UL10C, Positive Pressure, with the largest opening sizes in the industry at: Single: 4'3" X 10', Pair: 8'6" X 10'.
  • Most sound window assemblies can be fire rated per UBC 7.4, ASTM E2010 Positive Pressure with the largest window sizes in the industry at 14'-6" x 12'-0"
  • Finishes: All available with factory finish paint, stainless steel, plastic laminate, or wood veneer.
