NOTES 1. Stiles Audia™ Sound Window Assemblies come complete with fully welded frame, removable glass stops, proprietary acoustic gasket system and rust-inhibitive prime paint. 2. Glass Options: (choose one) a) Factory furnished and installed glass to insure proper performance. b) Glass furnished and installed by others. 3. Finish options: Finish paint, Stainless Steel, Bronze. *See Finish Options, General Section 4. Elevation Options: Many options are available such as multiple lites, sidelites and transom lites etc. 5. Other Options: a) Concealed glass stop fasteners. b) Desiccant-filled spacers between multiple glass lites. c) Dual nitrogen purge ports. 6. Wall conditions and Anchors Systems: Sound windows can be manufactured to accommodate any type wall construction. However if glass is factory installed it is strongly recommended that the wall be erected and trimmed out prior to installation of sound window (It is NOT necessary to remove glass to facilitate anchoring). 7. Windows were tested with 2,880 sq. in. of glass. Customer to specify size. 8. Frames must be grouted or packed solid with 12 lb. insulation. Voids between wall and frame must be continuously caulked after installation. Installation of frame in the field, grouting, packing and caulking materials are not included. 9. Fire labels are available per ASTM E2010 / UBC7-4 Positive Pressure, up to 1-1/2 hour. Maximum size of glass is according to manufacturer's testing. *See Fire Rated Section 10. Bullet resistant ratings, UL752 Levels 1-8 are also available. |
